PSV-1000 Pneumatic Pinch Valves
PSV-1000 pinch valves by Samsung Control Valve, Korea, for fly ash, cement, slurries and abrasive powders: 50A to 250A, working pressure 0 to 10 bar, drop-tight shut-off.
Product Overview
A pinch valve is a full-bore control valve that shuts off flow by pinching a rubber sleeve. It consists only of a body, a sleeve and an actuator. The medium touches only the inside of the sleeve, so the valve does not clog or leak, and maintenance is simply a sleeve change.
The valve is drop-tight and best suited to pneumatic conveying lines. The sleeve matches the pipe size for low flow resistance, and its material is chosen for the corrosiveness and abrasiveness of the medium. Operation is by double-acting pneumatic cylinder or manual handwheel.
Applications: fly ash pneumatic conveying, lines with scaling, chemical slurries, oil drilling mud, clinker and cement, abrasive granules, powders and slurries, cyclone discharge under silos. Industries: bulk solids handling, cement, wastewater, chemicals, food, ceramics, glass and plastics.
