SDH Heavy-Duty Actuators

SDH is a range of heavy-duty scotch yoke actuators with torque up to 299,000 N·m. They operate ball, butterfly and plug valves, dampers and any device that needs a quarter-turn movement, for on-off or throttling service.

Two yoke designs are available: a symmetrical yoke that gives maximum torque at both ends of the 90° stroke, and a canted yoke that gives maximum torque at 0°. A square slide bearing with guide bar gives long cycle life, a smooth stroke and minimal wear.

Accessories include jackscrews, hydraulic overrides, limit switches, solenoids and positioners. The manufacturer also supplies complete mounting hardware for valves, dampers or louvers.
