Product Overview
Instrument transformers (current and voltage transformers) step medium-voltage currents and voltages down to safe levels for meters, energy meters and protection relays. The RITZ standard range covers post, bushing and head-type current transformers and single- and double-pole voltage transformers for indoor and outdoor use.
Windings and cores are encapsulated in epoxy resin in a single pressure-gelation step, and every unit is partial-discharge tested. The secondary terminal box can be sealed; options include a capacitive divider for voltage indication, an earth-fault winding and ferroresonance damping.
