Product Overview
The SMF electromagnetic flowmeter (trade name AceMag) works on Faraday's law of induction: a conductive liquid flowing through a magnetic field generates a voltage proportional to its velocity, from which the flow in the pipe is calculated.
Two versions are available: the integral SMF-H with the converter mounted on the flow tube, and the remote SMF-R. Accuracy is ±0.5% of reading at 0.1 – 10 m/s (±0.2% optional), turn-down up to 1,500:1, power supply 85 – 230 V AC, with 4–20 mA output and RS485 and HART communication.
Applications: water and wastewater (drinking, waste, agricultural and industrial water); chemicals, petrochemicals, cooling and process water; food (beer, milk, juice); pulp and paper; steel and cement (cement slurry, coal slurry, circulating water, cooling water, seawater).
