Qingdao High-Pressure Power Plant Valves

Qingdao Power Station Valve (formerly Qingdao Power Station Valve Factory, founded in 1965) is a designated maker of high-temperature, high-pressure valves supplied with power plant boilers. Its valves serve boilers and turbine piping at subcritical, supercritical and ultra-supercritical parameters, and are also used in steel, petrochemical, paper, shipbuilding and nuclear power plants.

Globe valves open and close water and steam lines; for severe duties such as drains and blowdown the range includes erosion-resistant globe valves and drain valves with replaceable seats. The hydrostatic test plug valve was first developed in China by the company: during pressure testing of superheaters and reheaters after an outage it seals off the test medium, and in normal operation the internals are changed so the valve becomes a full-flow pipe section.

HP heater inlet and outlet valves are installed as a pair. If a heater tube bursts, the two valves switch quickly to isolate the heater and route feedwater through the bypass to the economizer, so the unit keeps running.
