KRAFT Butterfly Valves
KRAFT butterfly valves from Germany shut off liquids, gases and bulk solids at -0.8 to +6 bar, sizes DN 50 to DN 800, including an inflatable-seal version for abrasive media.
Product Overview
KRAFT butterfly valves shut off pipelines carrying liquids, gases, bulk solids and explosive materials. They come in wafer and lug versions with two face-to-face lengths, suit installations where a small outside diameter matters, and can be customised.
Seal materials (NBR, EPDM, PUR, AU, MVQ, FKM) are chosen to suit the medium. The valves hold FDA 177.2600 and EC 1935/2004 food-contact approvals.
The 159 S09 series has an inflatable seal: it inflates only after the disc has closed and is drawn back by vacuum before opening, which reduces wear, and inflating also loosens material caked on the seal. It suits abrasive media, sticky powders and granules.
